What to Expect

This course (along with it's companion, American Contract Law II) will teach you the basics of US contract law. In America, anyone can draw up a binding contract, so, while this course will be of particular use to lawyers, it will also be beneficial to business owners, land lords, artists, the self-employed, and truly anyone who buys or sells goods on a regular basis.

Contracts I will focus on the prerequisites for contracting. In this course you'll learn about:

  • Offer and Acceptance
  • Manifestation of Mutual Assent
  • Obligations
  • Consideration
